The Sefwi Wiawso Community Information Centre has trained about 250 students from September 2008-September 2009, excluding Heads of Departments from the District Assembly, the District Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Manager and staff, 17 Cartography staff from the Ghana Cocoaboard, Police Service personnel, Staff from the government Hospital etc. Twelve (12) Students are currently under training and are expected to graduate in January 2010. Plans are now in place for student ranging from class four to J.H.S 3 to come for training on weekends. Some schools are also recently using the centre as their ICT laboratory.
